In response to this growing concern and to empower rural areas with the knowledge and tools to fight cybercrime, the Kalyan Karnataka Regional Development Board has sanctioned the establishment of a ‘Cyber Crime Lab’ at the police training centre in Kalaburagi. This ‘first-of-its-kind’ lab in North Karnataka is a significant step towards decentralising cybercrime investigations and enhancing cyber security across the state.
