The Reserve Bank of India issued directions on Cyber Resilience and Digital Payment Security for non-bank Payment System Operators. The guidelines mandate a Board-approved Information Security policy, annual reviews, oversight by a Board sub-committee, and a Cyber Crisis Management Plan. A senior-level executive, such as a Chief Information Security Officer, will be responsible for the policy implementation.
